Introduction
What is Computer Graphics?
Brief introduction to "realistic image synthesis" by the Program of Computer Graphics at Cornell University.
Nice introduction to the Radiosity method.
The text was written by Allen Martin for a course at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
This page describes the great advantage of the Radiosity method over other methods (concerning the physical accuracy, not speed ;-).
This example appears also in Cohen's Book.Parallel & Hierarchical Radiosity
Another nice introduction briefly treating Parallel and Hierarchical Radiosity. There is also a nice Image Gallery.
This text was written by Simon Gibson.
Books
Michael F. Cohen - Radiosity and Realistic Image SynthesisF.X. Sillion , C.Puech - Radiosity and Global Illumination
Good and comprehensive introductions to the state of the art in Radiosity methods.Ian Ashdown - Radiosity: A Programmer's Perspective
Good practical introduction to the Radiosity method. Including source code in C++ for the described Radiosity system.
Bibliographies
Radiosity Bibliography
Ian Ashdowns bibliography containing a great number of
"...references to original papers, articles, and books on radiosity and related global illumination algorithms.
It also includes a limited number of references to such eclectic topics as constrained Delaunay triangulation, winged-edge data structures, finite element mathematics, and more."Rosenfeld Bibliography, KWIC-Index - Radiosity

Nice description of the Discontinuity Meshing method.
Brief introduction to problems arising in dynamically changing environments (rest of paper available on request)Geometric Simplification for Indirect Illumination Calculations
This paper introduces a method for accelerating global illumination by clustering small objects."... we discuss a new set of linear time hierarchical algorithms based on wavelets such as the multiwavelet family and a flatlet basis which we introduce."Integration Methods for Galerkin Radiosity Couplings
"An adaptive method for choosing Gauss quadrature rules is presented, and our performance analysis of the new adaptive algorithm shows that it can be up to 10 times faster than previous methods."Numerical Integration for Radiosity in the Presence of Singularities
"We introduce a new technique of constructing quadrature rules specifically adapted to the singularity. These rules are based on exact constant-constant transport..."Textures and Radiosity: Controlling Emission and Reflection with Texture
"In this paper we discuss the efficient and accurate incorporation of texture maps into a hierarchical Galerkin radiosity algorithm."Partitioning and Ordering Large Radiosity Computations
